About L.U.C.Y

After moving from Durham in the north East to London to pursue her career in fashion, firstly working as a costume assistant for a low budget film; with the cast of Tamer Hassan and Frank Bruno playing a small came role, then working in the showroom at Vivienne Westwood, along with other roles in fashion even trying out a magazine fashion department, Lucy's love of interiors was always at the forefront of her mind. So naturally she went to take on a trainee position with Helen Reed deign at Chiswick and training at KLC in Chelsea Harbour. Here she learned more about mixing eclectic styles especially affluent and luxe along with metals
and textures.

Drawing from her experiences growing up, where Lucy helped her father on their farm with sheep and harvesting, as a child, Lucy always brought souvenirs back from the fields that she had found; animal skulls, fur, tree barks, pretty stones from the stream that ran through the land etc.

Also living near to the North-Easy coast, as a young adult, she would drive to the beach and sit by the sea watching the waves crash down onto the pier and rocks. Mesmerised by the dramatic often dark colours, left an imprint in her taste.

These colours as well as the farm textures can be seen today a lot in her style today;as she calls it;" Glamorous Country" and is her design ethos; the interpretation, depending on each individual's needs.

As a design studio; L.U.C.Y takes time to get to know our client's needs, taste, as well as taking the time to learn how they move around the property and to help in maximizing that space and making the most out of what the client has, be it a studio flat or a mansion; L.U.C.Y is interested in telling your story.
